Currently due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I am having to avoid my studio and therefore unable to make/send out orders. I am taking pre-orders to be sent out as soon as its safe to proceed. Everything is currently listed as on back order – just add product to cart and checkout as usual, and I will be in touch as soon as I can.

I am grateful for any support for my small is business in this precarious time,  all preorders are very much appreciated.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs £1.50 (standard) or £3.95 (tracked) in the UK, and £7 to the rest of the world.

Glasgow customers can arrange collection to avoid postage costs – get in touch before you place your order for more info.

When will I receive my order?

See the product description of each style to see if it is in stock or on backorder. Items in stock will be shipped within 2 working days. Please allow us 10 days to make and package your item if it is on backorder. If you are running to a deadline then please email us (before you place your order) and we will see what we can do to get it to you on time.

Shipping in the UK is via Royal Mail 1st Class or Royal Mail Tracked 48.  If you choose tracked delivery, you will be emailed the tracking number so you can check the progress of your order. For other shipping options, get in touch before you place your order.

Can I find Dust Studio in shops?

Do you sell wholesale?

Do you take commissions?

Definitely. Whether its a different colour combo of an existing style or a whole new idea then get in touch.

How do backorders work?

If an item is marked as available for backorder it means that it will be made to order and will be ready to post within 10 working days. You will be charged at the point that you order. If you change your mind at any point before the order is shipped you can contact us for a refund.

Please note that as each piece is handmade, there may be some slight differences between your item and the photograph.

Can I return my item?

YesIf you receive your order and are not 100% happy with it we will offer you a refund or exchange. Let us know within 14 days of receipt of the item that you would like a refund/exchange, by sending back the item in the original packaging, and in it’s original condition. Unfortunately we won’t be able to refund your shipping costs. If an item is returned damaged or broken we will not be able to issue a refund/exchange.

Can you replace a lost earring?

If you email us a picture of the one you have left we can have a go! Most colours are custom and mixed in small batches, and as we don’t use cutters or moulds sizes will also not be identical.

What is your work made from?

All earrings are made from polymer clay. Where there is surface design (the Memphis styles), the clay is then treated with a polyurethane varnish to protect the design.

Polymer clay is a non-toxic material made from PVC resin, which like ceramic clay is fired to hardness, but at  much lower temperatures. It is a sturdy material with a slight flexibility, but can crack if put under a lot of pressure. If the surface becomes marked, clean it with a damp cloth.

All findings are hypoallergenic surgical steel unless otherwise stated. If you have different requirements for findings don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Do you make clip-on earrings?

Yes! Please get in touch with the style you would like (this isn’t available for every style but we will see what we can do).
